I built an AI agent that runs your entire university life from a single chat. Solo. In 24 hours.
Jimmy is an autonomous AI student assistant that lives in Telegram and actually does things for you. No app downloads. No learning curve. Just text what you need.
Book a room on the LBS portal. Summarize your unread emails and draft replies. Check what events are happening this week on CampusGroups. Sync your Google Calendar. Track your job applications and deadlines. All from one chat.
The idea came from my own frustration. Every week I found myself toggling between five or six different platforms just to stay on top of basic student admin. Room bookings on one site, event signups on another, emails piling up, calendar invites to accept. None of it is hard, but all of it adds up.
I built Jimmy on the OpenClaw framework, which gives it the ability to reason about tasks, chain actions together, and interact with external APIs autonomously. The architecture is skill based: every integration is a modular skill, and anyone can build new ones. Four skills in 24 hours. And that was just day one.
By the end of the hackathon I had a working demo, a pitch deck, and a live site with a waitlist at hacklbs2026-jimmy.vercel.app.
It actually works. Not as a concept. Not as a slide deck. As something you can message right now and get a real response back.
